Classes/Programs Offered
Down below you will see a list of the classes and programs we offer as well as a description of each. Please note: Not all classes may be listed if they are new or a specialty class, all specialty classes are listed on a different page.
Contemporary/Lyrical:
Contemporary/Lyrical dance closely resembles other dance genres such as Jazz or Modern as it draws techniques from other disciplines. With this style, there is a lot of emphasis placed on self expression and emotion. This class is perfect for a dancer that would like to learn how to tell a story while they dance using facial expressions, acting skills and relating to the topic of the song chosen. This style is currently available at a Beginner & Intermediate Level.
HipHop:
HipHop is a super fun upbeat class, it's perfect to get all your energy out! HipHop focuses a lot on individual style and is slightly different for each dancer. There is no right or wrong in HipHop due to there being no technique involved with this style. HipHop does take some concentration and coordination to achieve the level of speed required for some more advanced routines, but don't worry that comes in time and beginners are always welcome! This style is currently available at a Beginner & Intermediate Level.
Street Jazz:
Street Jazz is more of a commercial style, it is the style of dance that is used in a lot of popular music videos in the genre's of Rap and Pop. Street Jazz is all about attitude, sass, individual style and is more of a girly type of style that includes moves like snaps and hair whips for example. This style is a lot of fun and anyone can do it and feel confident doing it. This style is currently available at a Beginner & Intermediate Level.
Street Fusion:
Street Fusion is a perfect mixture of HipHop & Street Jazz! We take certain parts from both styles and combine them to create a really cool, fun & unique style that students are sure to love. It has some girly, feminine aspects to the choreo just like Street Jazz but also has the hard hitting, masculine aspect to the choreo just like HipHop. This style is currently available at an Intermediate Level but is fully Beginner Friendly.
Heels/Pre-Heels:
Heels classes are the ultimate confidence booster for everyone! Depending on the level of experience of dance you have, depends on the heels you will be allowed to wear for safety purposes. If you aren't comfortable wearing heels at all, you can still take part in this class and have a lot of fun! Due to the style of this class all students must be 16+. Any student that would like to participate in this class that is under the age of 16 will have to get a parent or guardian to sign our underage parent consent form. This style is very sexy, feminine, and hot. From twerking to hair whips, this class has it all!
Please be advised: The topic of song choices and movements will be mature and some may be considered Vulgar or inappropriate to some audiences. These styles are currently available at an Intermediate & Advanced Level but Pre-Heels is Beginner Friendly.
LA Based HipHop:
LA Based classes are a combination of HipHop and Heels mixed into one! From week to week the style focus will switch up between the 2. We may learn a combo created by a top LA choreographer such as JoJo Gomez, Aliya Janell, Nicole Kirkland, etc every now and again.
If you are a serious dancer, this is the class for you! Due to the included styles of dance, you must be 10+ to register for this style. This style is considered to be an Intermediate or Advanced Level but it is open to dancers that don't have a lot of previous experience or are self-taught.
Please be advised: The topic of song choice and movements will be mature and some may be considered Vulgar or inappropriate for some audiences.
Mix Of Styles:
Mix Of Styles is exactly what it sounds like, it is a complete mixture of all the styles we offer here at K&B Dance Company! From week to week we do a new style so this class NEVER gets boring. This class is perfect for a dancer that enjoys all. genres of dance or for a beginner that isn't sure what styles they would enjoy. There truly is something in this class for everyone. This style is currently available at a Beginner Level.
TikTok:
TikTok classes are a lot of fun! Each week we will learn a new TikTok dance based on what is trending and sometimes we even throw in a super popular throwback dance as well. Don't let this class fool you, it is NOT super easy or boring in anyway and the dances can get pretty advanced. This class is perfect. for a beginner who would like to learn some cool trending TikTok's or for someone who is ready to step up their TikTok dance game! This Class is an Advanced Level Class
Please note: you do not need to have a TikTok account or even know what TikTok is to participate in this class.
Cheer-Dance:
Cheer-Dance is the perfect combination of Cheerleading technique and upbeat dance steps! No gymnastics will be required to be performed for this class and this class welcomes all levels of flexibility. Pom Pom's are not required but they do make the class more fun!
Choreo Creation:
Choreo Creation classes allow you to let your creativity run wild! Each week we talk about different styles and techniques in dance. Each class everyone will be given a style and a song for them to choreograph their own dance. You can be as creative as you like with this class! Each week everyone will get to perform their piece of choreography for the class that they created based on the instructions from the week before. Each student will then receive some personalized constructive criticism and compliments from both the teacher and other students. This helps each student build up their confidence and bond together as a class, our company is a place where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves. This class will improve the level of your choreography abilities with each week you attend.
Dynamic Duo Modelling & Dance Class:
This class is for students that want to experience the Dance & Modelling Industry. In this class we will cover the main aspects of Dance & Modelling including:

A Sassier Girly Type Dance
You will also gain the experience of doing a professional level photoshoot! Any pictures taken will be professionally edited and then parents can choose to order and keep any of the pictures we have captured. These Photos can also be used in advertisements for K&B Dance Company which will be featured on our Website, Facebook page & Instagram.
Musical Theatre & Jazz Combo Class:
This is a style of dance that includes characters and or acting skills as well. This is usually is considered to be a happy go lucky style of dance or more on the positive side of things however this isn't always the case. For example if you are playing Sharpey from High School Musical then you are playing a character that is more demanding and a bit mean so your facial expressions should show that to the audience. Mixing that aspect of musical theatre with the style of Jazz (Street Jazz, Burlesque Jazz, or Old School Jazz) is always a fun combo to do. This style is currently offered at a Beginner Level.
Junior Teacher Training Assistant Program
The Junior Teacher Training Program is similar to our Teacher Training Program but there are a few differences. First of all, it is offered to any of our students ages 10+. There is only 1 level to this program however not 4, but you will still be given tests and assignments throughout the program to get graded on, but there will be no final exam given. Once you pass this program, you will then receive a Certificate of Completion from K&B Dance Company and you will then be eligible to become a teaching assistant for a class of your choosing.

Mommy & Me Class:
The Mommy & Me Classes are for 18 months-4 years old. A parent or guardian must be present for this particular class. This class is lots of fun to do with your little one and is a great 1st dance class for any child to attend with a parent.
