Classes/Programs Offered
Down below you will see a list of the classes and programs we offer as well as a description of each. Please note: Not all classes may be listed if they are new.
TikTok:
TikTok classes are a lot of fun! Each week we will learn a new TikTok dance based on what is trending and sometimes we even throw in a super popular throwback dance as well. Don't let this class fool you, it is NOT super easy or boring in anyway and the dances can get pretty advanced and challenging. With that being said, this class is perfect for a beginner who would like to learn some cool trending TikTok's, meet other dancers with the same interests as them or for someone who is ready to step up their TikTok dance game!
Please note: you do not need to have a TikTok account or even know what TikTok is to participate in this class.
Offered for ages 8+ years old.
Taught at an Advanced Level Only.
HipHop:
HipHop is a super fun upbeat class, it's perfect to get all your energy out! HipHop focuses a lot on individual style and is slightly different for each dancer. There is no right or wrong in HipHop due to there being no technique involved with this style. HipHop does take some concentration and coordination to achieve the level of speed required for some more advanced routines, but don't worry that comes in time and beginners are always welcome!
Offered for ages 4+ years old.
Taught at a Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Level.
HipHop & TikTok Combo Class:
HipHop & TikTok Combo Class is the perfect mixture of Trending cool dances and the masculinity/aggression of HipHop. This style is a super fun class but requires A LOT of energy, concentration and coordination to achieve the level of speed required for some more advanced routines, but that comes in time and beginners are always welcome. When it comes to the TikTok aspect, we will only be doing age appropriate TikTok dances with clean music ONLY.
Please Note: No TikTok account is required to participate in class and this class will not be filmed and posted on TikTok or anything like that. Nothing we do in this class will sacrifice the safety of the dancers as that is always a #1 priority.
Offered for ages 5-7 years old.
Taught at a Beginner Level Only.
LA Based HipHop:
LA Based classes are a combination of HipHop and Heels mixed into one! From week to week the style focus will switch up between the 2 but you will never be required to wear heels, you would wear sneakers. We may learn a combo created by a top LA choreographer such as JoJo Gomez, Aliya Janell, Nicole Kirkland, etc every now and again since they are the Choreographers & Teachers that our Teachers take classes from online.
If you are a serious dancer or you enjoy a challenge, this is the class for you! This style is open to dancers that don't have a lot of previous experience, no previous experience or are self-taught.
Please be advised: The topic of song choice and movements will be mature and some may be considered Vulgar or inappropriate for some audiences.
Offered for ages 12+ years old.
Taught at a Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Level.
Heels/Pre-Heels/Burlesque Jazz:
These particular styles are the ultimate confidence booster for everyone! Depending on the level of experience of dance you have, depends on the Class we would recommend for you to take.
If you aren't comfortable wearing heels at all and have no prior dance experience, we would recommend you try Burlesque Jazz.
If you aren't comfortable wearing heels but would like to work your way up to wearing heels eventually, we would recommend you try Pre-Heels.
If you are comfortable wearing even small thick heels but would like to work your way up to stilettos eventually, we would recommend you try Heels.
Due to the style of these classes, each one has an age requirement.
Burlesque Jazz-> Age 12 years old+
Pre-Heels-> Age 12 years old+
Heels-> Age 16 years old+
Any dancer that is under the required age to participate in these classes may still participate with a parent's consent. ​A parent will be required to sign our Maturity Consent form where it states that you are aware they are under the recommended age for this style of dance.
All 3 of these styles of dance are very feminine and we focus on confidence and becoming more comfortable in your own skin. All 3 styles are a lot of fun and would be perfect for someone who needs a confidence booster, higher self-esteem, a beginner looking for a fun class, someone who wants to expand their dance knowledge or someone that is interested in dancing professionally or making a career out of dance.

Cheer-Dance:
Our Cheer-Dance is a great choice for any dancer that is also interested in Cheerleading & Gymnastics. This is the perfect combination of Cheerleading technique and Sassy dance steps taking the best parts of Dance and the best part of Cheerleading then combining them to make this super unique and fun style. In this class we will be learning some Acro, Gymnastics, Lifts & Tumbling as well to spice up the routines.
Please Note: PomPoms will be provided to all dancers.

Sassy Jazz:
Sassy Jazz is more of a commercial style, it is the style of dance that is used in a lot of popular music videos in the genre of Pop. Sassy Jazz is all about attitude, sass, individual style and is more of a girly type of style that includes moves like snaps and hair whips for example. This style is a lot of fun and anyone can do it and feel confident doing it.

Taught at a Beginner & Intermediate Level.
Mix Of Styles:
Our Mix Of Styles Combo Class is exactly what it sounds like, it is a complete mixture of all the styles we offer here at K&B Dance Company! From week to week we do a new style so this class NEVER gets boring. This class is perfect for a dancer that enjoys all styles of dance or for a beginner that isn't sure what styles they would enjoy. There truly is something in this class for everyone.

Superstar Hollywood Class:
This class is for students that want to experience the Dance & Modelling Industry. In this class we will cover the main aspects of Dance & Modelling including:

A Sassier Type Dance
You will also gain the experience of doing professional level photoshoots on a regular basis once per month! Any pictures taken will be professionally edited and then parents can choose to order and keep any of the pictures we have captured. These Photos can also be used in advertisements for K&B Dance Company which will be featured on our Website, Facebook page & Instagram.
Musical Theatre & Jazz Combo Class:
This is a style of dance that includes characters and or acting skills as well. This is usually is considered to be a happy go lucky, theatrical style of dance or more on the positive side of things however this isn't always the case. For example if you are playing Sharpey from High School Musical then you are playing a character that is more demanding and a bit mean so your facial expressions should show that to the audience. Mixing that aspect of musical theatre with the style of Jazz (Sassy Jazz, Old School Jazz, etc) is always a fun combo to do.

Mommy & Me Class:
Our Mommy & Me Class is perfect for any parent who has an aspiring dancer on their hands with lots of energy. This class is a great introduction to the dance world and how much fun it can really be. Bring your little one with you into one of our Mommy & Me Classes and get the opportunity to bond with your little one and work on some important developmental skills.
Offered for ages 12 months old- 4 years old.

Baby Move & Groove Class:
Our Baby Move & Groove Class is the perfect way for you and your baby out of the house to socialize. In this class we listen to music, play with toys and it gives you the opportunity to socialize with other parents around your baby's age. This is a great place for parents to make new friends for themselves or their babies.
Offered for ages 6 months old-12 months old.
Taught at an Introduction Level Only.
Imagination Dress-up Class:
Our Imagination Dress-up Class is the best class for a child with a BIG personality and WILD imagination. Each class, all dancers will get to dress up, play games as whatever character they dress up as and use their imagination in the dance we will learn to really play the character they choose to be. This Class is so much fun! You can win prizes, eat some sweet treats and even do some crafts!
Offered for ages 4-6 years old.

Boys Only Themed Dance Class
Being a part of this class is a lot of fun, this class is for Boys ONLY! This is a Follow-Along class that is perfect for any boy that has lots of energy, has trouble paying attention or following instructions. This class is less structured than your average dance class. We learn a follow along dance, we do some crafts, play games & the boys will get rewarded when they accomplish something.

Taught at an Introduction Level Only.
Contemporary/Lyrical:
Contemporary/Lyrical dance closely resembles other dance genres such as Jazz or Modern as it draws techniques from other disciplines. With this style, there is a lot of emphasis placed on self expression and emotion. This class is perfect for a dancer that would like to learn how to tell a story while they dance using facial expressions, acting skills and relating to the topic of the song chosen. This style is currently available as a dancer on our Competition Team, Pre-Competition Team, & Mix of Styles Classes.
