About Us
Our Vision & Promises as a Dance Company:
As a Dance Company, we believe that no dream is too big and nothing is impossible. This is what we teach all of our students because it is very important to know that as a dancer and have confidence in yourself, that is when your journey truly begins.

We are one of very few Dance Companies located in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland. We are also one of the few studios on the island that offers Drop-in classes. Any class we teach (unless it is stated it's an audition or invite only class) is eligible for Drop-in. Whether you are Complete Beginner, Recreational, Pre-Professional Dancer or anywhere in between we have something for you!

Here at K&B Dance Company we believe that all dancers should be looked at as equal. We are a gender neutral company, we welcome both male and female dancers of all ages. We take pride in knowing our company stands for equality and is a non-judgemental safe space so everyone can feel 100% comfortable attending classes with us.

Our company is a safe place for everyone. This is their escape from reality when they need to do something healthy to help them deal with bad mental health days or if they just want to do something fun to escape the real world for a little while. We guarantee that as a company, no bullying, racism, or hatred of any kind will be tolerated in any way and will be addressed immediately.
We believe that dance is for everyone and each and every student should get individual advice and attention from their teacher to encourage them and help them improve with each and every class they take so we make sure our class sizes stay smaller than most dance companies have to ensure this is the experience of each dancer we teach.

This is our amazing team here at K&B Dance Company! Each person on our team is equally as important to our company and each play a special part in helping K&B Dance Company run as smoothly as possible.
Miss Kim
Owner & Head Teacher
Miss Kim is a fierce and enthusiastic choreographer. Kim has trained in Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Street Jazz, Heels, Tap, Contemporary, TikTok, Cheer-Dance and Stunting; along with singing and acting.
Kim is our expert in TikTok and some of you may even recognize her as "kamwdance" which is her known name on the TikTok App. She has fans on TikTok from all over the world from Canada, to the USA, the United Kingdom, etc. Her TikTok’s tend to go viral, some of her most popular trending TikTok’s have over 3.6 million views! Not only does she do the latest dance trends on Tiktok but she also creates her own dances, some of which have also gone viral.
Miss Kim firmly believes that every Dancer, Dance Teacher and Choreographer should always continue to improve and build up their skill with training so she continues taking classes herself to improve her own skills as there is always room for personal growth and improvement. She takes online virtual dance classes with a few well known choreographers from LA including JoJo Gomez, Nicole Kirkland & Kelly Sweeney just to name a few.
Miss Kim LOVES working with kids and has been working with kids for a very long time. She believes that no dream is too big, no accomplishment is too small and nothing is impossible. Miss Kim also believes that no matter what a child’s training experience is, every child should be treated equally and every dancer should be offered opportunities to do more than just a group dance or being seen as a "background dancer".
In Miss Kim’s classes, her students will learn through Fun Activities, Games and a Reward System so classes are NEVER boring.

Has attended Professional Classes & Workshops Online with top LA choreographers since 2020.

Has organized and put off 7 Showcases since opening K&B Dance Company.

Currently completing a Dance Studio Owner Certification Online with a collage.

Owns one of the only IAPO (International Association of Professional Dance Studio Owners) Studios in Newfoundland.

Created all choreography for a local musical "Beauty & The Beast" in 2016 and also played the character "Chip the Teacup" in the musical as well.

Recognized by the city of Mount Pearl for the quality of choreography created for Beauty & The Beast and received a certificate of appreciation.

All of her dancers that have attended competitions have never gotten lower than 3rd place.

Has previously been a Cheerleading flyer for 3+ years which adds to the knowledge of tricks, stunting and the safety that goes along with that.

Miss Alexandra
Assistant Teacher & Former Dance Captain
Miss Alexandra is a great Assistant Teacher in all the classes she assists in as she is the former Dance Captain for our Competition Team. She is a very enthusiastic assistant and an amazing role model for the kids. Miss Alexandra is a great performer and although she doesn't have that many years of experience on stage, she is always up for a challenge and keeps an open-mind.
Miss Alexandra forms close bonds with all of the kids in the classes she assists and takes her position and opportunities with K&B Dance Company very seriously and puts a lot of time and effort into the company.

Enjoys doing volunteer work on behalf of K&B Dance Company within the community as a representative. In the past, she has handed out homemade Christmas cards made by all of us here at the company to the Ronald Mcdonald House, The Janeway Children's Hospital, The Health Science Center, & an Old Age Home in Southlands, St. John's. She has also attended events as a volunteer to perform at them, fundraise, etc.

Received a Crown as K&B Dance Company's Christmas Spirit Princess for 2024 because she donated items to families in need, showed Christmas Spirit every class she assisted or attended even by choosing to wear Christmas Themed Clothing to class, and she completed multiple other challenges on the list.

Received a Crown at the 2nd Annual Christmas Showcase in December of 2024 for her Solo she performed.

Paige Dooley
Dance Captain for our Competition Team
Paige is our current Dance Captain for the K&B Dance Company Competition Team. This is Paige's first full season as our Dance Captain as Alexandra passed the torch on to Paige towards the end of the last season. Paige was the perfect fit to take over the Dance Captain position for a couple of reasons. She is very dedicated to Dance and never misses class which sets an amazing example for her team, she's one of the only OG members of our very first competition team left and has put the time and hard work in to maintain her spot, and finally she is the Lead Dancer of our Acro department for partner work, so all of the dancers trust her.
Although this is very early in Paige's Dance Career & Journey, she has achieved a lot since becoming a part of the K&B Dance Company Family. All of her achievements & accomplishments are listed below:​

Hailey Attwood
Dance Captain for our Pre-Comp Team Blue
Hailey is our current Dance Captain for the K&B Dance Company Pre-Competition Team Blue. This is Hailey's first full season as Dance Captain for our Pre-Competition Team as prior to this, only the Competition Team had a Dance Captain. Hailey is the first ever Dance Captain for our Pre-Competition Team Blue but she is definitely ready for the challenge and responsibility. Hailey was offered the Dance Captaincy because she is what we like to call a jack of all trades here within the company. From Ballet, to HipHop, to Acro & everything in between, Hailey can do it all. She is very organized and sets a really good example for the younger dancers. We wouldn't want anyone else stepping forward to represent Team Blue. Although Hailey is only in the beginning stages of her Dance Journey with us, she has had multiple achievements & accomplishments with us in less than a year of being a part of the K&B Dance Company Family. She has a History of being a Competitive Dancer winning multiple Awards at local dance competitions prior to joining our Company.

Was offered and accepted a Dance Captaincy Spot in December of 2024 for the Pre-Competition Team.

She participated in the Mount Pearl Christmas Parade representing the company in December 2024.​

She received the "Dedication Award" at our Christmas Showcase in 2024.

She received the "MVP Award" at our End of Season Showcase in 2025 which stands for "The Most Valuable Dancer Award".

Made it as a Semi-Finalist in multiple dances in an Online Dance Competition called IODC in June of 2025.

Made it in the Finals as a Soloist in IODC internationally with a HipHop Routine called "It's Ok, I'm Ok".

Has experience in HipHop, LA Style HipHop, TikTok Dance, Street Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Line Dancing & Acro Dancing.

Is one of our best improvisational dancers within the company, she thinks on her feet quickly.
Arianna Mason
Dance Captain of our Pre-Competition Team Pink
Arianna is our New Dance Captain for the K&B Dance Company Competition Team Pink. This is Arianna's first season as Dance Captain for our Pre-Competition Team Pink as prior to this season, only the Competition Team had a Dance Captain. Arianna is the first ever Dance Captain for our Pre-Competition Team Pink but after dancing with us for 4 years and being a part of the Pre-Competition Team since Day 1, she definitely deserves this opportunity and is ready to take on this type of responsibility. Arianna was offered the Dance Captaincy for her team because she is not only an OG dancer with the company but she puts in a lot of time and effort into dance. Arianna is not only an amazing performer but she also has a gift for choreography. At her young age, she is already choreographing impressive dances for her team and assisting with our Big Company routines as well. Arianna has almost a perfect attendance record over the past 4 years with us and with her overly friendly attitude and positive outlook on life she not only sets a really good example for the other dancers, but she really is a friend to everyone. We wouldn't want anyone else stepping forward to represent Team Pink. Although Arianna is young, she is entering her 5th year of her Dance Journey with us. Over the course of the last 4 years as a K&B Dance Company Dancer, she has multiple Achievements & Accomplishments some of which are listed below:

Won 2 Crowns at our End of Season Showcase 2025 as a Soloist. One for her Contemporary/HipHop Solo called "If you ask me to", and one for her Improv Solo called "Say Something I'm Giving up on you".

Has received the "Heart of Gold Award" at our End of Season Showcase in 2025.

Is currently working on her Choreography skills, working with her teammates to choreograph solos for other dancers on the team as well as assisting with group dances and Big Company Routines.
Miss Abby
Manager of the Showtime Team
Miss Abby has proven to be very organized and reliable which is why she is the perfect person to be the Manager of the Showtime Team for all of K&B Dance Company's Shows for the 2024-2025 Dance Season.
Miss Abby does a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure everything gets done in a timely manner to ensure everything runs smoothly. As the Manager of the Showtime Team, Miss Abby is responsible for doing hair, makeup, making sure the kids change their costume when they are supposed to & making sure each child is ready to go on stage when it's their turn to do so.

Completing Hair & Makeup looks on all the dancers with her team of Volunteers before every show since 2023 to present day.

Completing backstage quick hair & makeup changes for the dancer's at all of our Showcases with her team of Volunteers since 2023 to present day.

Managing all of the dancer's backstage as well as answering any question they may have.

Managing all of the dancer's costume changes and hair accessories or props.

Taking the young dancer's off the side of the stage to go on bathroom breaks and making sure they know where the bathrooms are.

Keeping things organized backstage while the showcases are running.
