Our Terms & Seasons

Dance Seasons

Down below you will find all information regarding our Seasons, how they run, if you're locked in, when you can leave if you decide to and how.

Dance Seasons in general run a little differently than seasons throughout the year such as Fall or Winter for example, but they also have some similarities. Just like Yearly Seasons, Dance Seasons each year is broken into 4 Seasons, each of these seasons are between 12 & 14 weeks in length starting with the month of September and ending in the month of August.

Knowing the Dance Seasons and how they run is important as a dancer & a dance mom or dad because then it becomes easier to keep track of upcoming events such as Closures, Showcases, Fundraisers, etc.

Each Dance Company also runs their seasons differently as well, there is no set time frame that every studio goes by. Down below is the breakdown of our seasons and how we personally run them:

• Season One-> This Season will run from September 8th, 2025 to November 30th, 2025.​ (12 Weeks)

• Season Two-> This Season will run from December 1st, 2025 to March 1st, 2026. (13 Weeks)

• Season Three-> This Season will run from March 1st, 2026 to May 31st, 2026. (13 Weeks)

• Season Four-> This Season will run from June 1st, 2026 to September 6th, 2026. (14 Weeks)

During each of our Dance Seasons, we will have either an Online or In-Person Showcase & either a Company Competition or an Online Competition.

During Season One, we will film music videos for our Online Halloween Themed Showcase. During a chosen week within that season before Halloween Night, we will film all of the dances that the kids have been working on since September 8th. We then take those videos and edit them with some cool Halloween Video Effects and upload each video on a link that can be purchased by the dancers parents, family & friends. We also take these videos and upload them here on our website under the "Online Voting" tab and we create an Online Halloween Company Competition. Once all videos have been uploaded for the competition, family & friends can then visit our website and vote for their favourite videos. Once the voting period ends, there will be an announcement of winners and an award ceremony that is filmed and sent to parents for free. Everyone will win something for participating in the competition but the Winners will receive custom ordered crowns or tiaras that are Halloween Themed.

During Season Two, we will have an In-Person Christmas Showcase on Stage. During a chosen week within that season before the Christmas Showcase, we will film all of the dances that the kids have been working on since November 1st. We then take those videos and upload each video on a link that can be purchased by the dancers parents, family & friends to keep or it can be sent to family & friends that couldn't make it to the Showcase. We will also take these videos and upload them here on our website under the "Online Voting" tab and we create an Online Christmas Company Competition that will run after the Showcase. Once all videos have been uploaded for the competition, family & friends can then visit our website and vote for their favourite videos. Once the voting period ends, there will be an announcement of winners and an award ceremony that is filmed and sent to parents for Free. Everyone will win something for participating in the Showcase and those Winners will be presented with something during the Christmas Showcase but the Winners of the Online Competition will receive custom ordered crowns or tiaras that are Christmas Themed.

During Season Three, we will film music videos for our Online Themed Showcase. During a chosen week within that season, we will film all of the dances that the kids have been working on since returning from their Christmas Break in January. We then take those videos and edit them with some cool Video Effects and upload each video on a link that can be purchased by the dancers parents, family & friends. We also take these videos and upload them here on our website under the "Online Voting" tab and we create an Online Themed Company Competition. Once all videos have been uploaded for the competition, family & friends can then visit our website and vote for their favourite videos. Once the voting period ends, there will be an announcement of winners and an award ceremony that is filmed and sent to parents for free. Everyone will win something for participating in the competition but the Winners will receive custom ordered crowns or tiaras.

During Season Four, we will have an In-Person End of Season Showcase on Stage. During a chosen week within that season before the Showcase, we will film all of the dances that the kids have been working on since March 1st. We then take those videos and upload each video on a link that can be purchased by the dancers parents, family & friends to keep or it can be sent to family & friends that couldn't make it to the Showcase. We will also take selected videos and upload them to an online competition called IODC that will run after the Showcase. Once the competition ends, there will be an announcement of winners and judges comments that will be discussed with the dancers involved and discussed with their parents as well. Everyone will win something for participating in the End of Season Showcase and those Winners will be presented with something during the Showcase itself during our Award Ceremony.

Dance Terms

Aside from our Seasons we also have our Dance Terms. A Dance Term is similar to a month such as September but terms don't run from the 1st to the end of the month, dance terms run from the Saturday after Tuition payment is due until the next Tuition Invoice due date. Each term is approximately 4 weeks in length however that can differ. Knowing the Dance Terms as a Dance Mom or Dad is very important so you are aware of when your invoicing is due each month. Each dance term always starts on a Saturday and ends on a Friday. Down below is the Breakdown of our Dance Terms:

• Term One-> August 30th, 2025- September 26th, 2025.

• Term Two-> September 27th, 2025- October 24th, 2025.

• Term Three-> October 25th, 2025- November 28th, 2025

• Term Four-> November 29th, 2025- December 26th, 2025.

• Term Five-> December 27th, 2026- January 23rd, 2026.

• Term Six-> January 24th, 2026- February 20th, 2026.

• Term Seven-> February 21st, 2026- March 27th, 2026.

• Term Eight-> March 28th, 2026- April 24th, 2026.

• Term Nine-> April 25th, 2026- May 22nd, 2026.

• Term Ten-> May 23rd, 2026- June 26th, 2026.

• Term Eleven-> June 27th, 2026- July 24th, 2026.

• Term Twelve-> July 25th, 2026- August 28th, 2026.

We are currently into our 2025-2026 Dance Season
