Our Terms & Seasons

Dance Seasons

 Down below you will find all information regarding our Seasons and how they run.

The Full Dance Season runs from September 2026-June 2027. Our Full Dance Season each year is broken into 3 Sub Seasons, each of these seasons are between 15 & 21 weeks in length starting with the month of September and ending in the month of June. June-August is our 3rd Sub Season which is our Summer Season.

Knowing the Dance Seasons and how they run is important as a dancer & a dance mom or dad because then it becomes easier to keep track of upcoming events such as Closures, Showcases, Fundraisers, etc.

Each Dance Company also runs their seasons differently as well, there is no set time frame that every studio goes by. Down below is the breakdown of our seasons and how we personally run them:

• Sub Season One-> This Season will run from September 2nd, 2026 to December 20th, 2026.​ (15 Weeks)

• Sub Season Two-> This Season will run from January 6th, 2027 to June 6th, 2027. (21 Weeks)

• Sub Season Three-> This Season will run from June 16th, 2027 to August 29th, 2027. (10 Weeks)

During each of our Sub Seasons, we will have either an Online or In-Person Showcase & either a Company Competition or an Online Competition.  

During Sub Season One: We will film music videos for our Online Halloween Themed Showcase & Competition. We then take these videos and upload them here on our website under the "Online Voting" tab and we create an Online Halloween Company Competition. Once all videos have been uploaded for the competition, family & friends can then visit our website and vote for their favourite videos. Once the voting period ends, there will be an announcement of winners on our Facebook page. We will have a Christmas Showcase & Competition on Stage. During a chosen week within that season before the Christmas Showcase, we will film all of the dances that the kids have been working on. We then take those videos and upload each video on a link that can be purchased by the dancers parents, family & friends to keep or it can be sent to family & friends that can't make it to the Showcase. Everyone will win something for participating in the Showcase and the winners of the competition will be presented with something during the Christmas Showcase but the Winners of the Online Competition will receive custom ordered crowns or tiaras that are Christmas Themed.

During Sub Season Two, We will have an End of Season Showcase & Competition on Stage. During a chosen week within that season before the Showcase, we will film all of the dances that the kids have been working on. We then take those videos and upload each video on a link that can be purchased by the dancers parents, family & friends to keep or it can be sent to family & friends that can't make it to the Showcase.  Everyone will win something for participating in the End of Season Showcase and the winners will be presented with something during the Showcase itself during our Award Ceremony.​

Dance Months for the 2026-2027 Dance Season

Aside from our Seasons we also have our Dance Months. A Dance Month is similar to a regular month such as September but they don't run from the 1st to the end of the month, dance months run from the day after Dance Tuition payment is due until the next Dance Tuition due date. Each month is approximately 4 weeks in length however that can differ. Knowing the Dance Months as a Dance Mom or Dad is very important so you are aware of when your invoicing is due each month. Each dance month always starts on a the 24th and ends on the 23rd. Down below is the Breakdown of our Dance Months:

• Month One-> August 24th, 2026- September 23rd, 2026.

• Month Two-> September 24th, 2026- October 23rd, 2026.

• Month Three-> October 24th, 2026- November 23rd, 2026.

• Month Four-> November 24th, 2026- December 23rd, 2026.

• Month Five-> December 24th, 2026- January 23rd, 2027.

• Month Six-> January 24th, 2027- February 23rd, 2027.

• Month Seven-> February 24th, 2027- March 23rd, 2027.

• Month Eight-> March 24th, 2027- April 23rd, 2027.

• Month Nine-> April 24th, 2027- May 23rd, 2027.

• Month Ten-> May 24th, 2027- June 23rd, 2027.

• Month Eleven-> June 24th, 2027- July 23rd, 2027.

• Month Twelve-> July 24th, 2027- August 23rd, 2027.
